After-school Nanny for school runs, Job ID J19A51

An After-school Nanny is needed by a family in Wimbledon, London to help them in looking after their school aged child. They seek someone flexible and caring and preferably someone experienced taking care of children with special needs. It would be ideal if the nanny is flexible to join them once or twice a week per year when they travel. A driver who holds a full driving license is a must and they can provide an automatic car.

They prefer someone who has a good level of English. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday; Term time from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm, School holidays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 35 hours per week

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
