As a premium Nanny-Housekeeper service, we take pride in our specialist vetting procedures. We have developed processes to ensure only the most suitable candidates are selected.
The safety and comfort of our clients and their families are our priority. Each placed Nanny-Housekeeper candidate undergoes the following vetting procedures:
Interviewed and vetted in person at our London Fitzrovia office or via video call by an expert Little Ones Nanny-Housekeeper Consultant.
Has two recent employment references, verbally checked by our Consultants.
Presents proof of a valid enhanced DBS Check (Police Check).
Undertake Paediatric First Aid Certification every 3 years.
Please note that there may be circumstances where a candidate is still undergoing one or more of the above vetting processes, or it is not possible for them to obtain one or more of the requested documents. Where this is the case, this will be made clear on the candidate’s profile at the point of introduction.
What are the duties of a Nanny-Housekeeper?
The duties of a Nanny-Housekeeper depend on the individual needs of our clients. Allocation of time between domestic housekeeping duties and childcare is entirely up to you. Nanny-Housekeepers may have cooking, PA, and other duties specified by you. PA duties can include keeping household accounts and bills, liaising with tradespeople, accepting deliveries, or running errands.
Our Nanny-Housekeepers are placed in sole care positions for working parents or alongside parents, depending on your requirements. Nanny-Housekeepers may live with your family on a live-in basis. They can also work on a part-time or full-time live-out basis, for five to six days per week.
A Nanny-Housekeeper who works alongside a parent may focus more on housekeeping and have fewer duties related to children. Their nanny duties may only be required while the parent is otherwise occupied.
A Nanny-Housekeeper who is put into a sole responsibility role will spend more time looking after the children. Household tasks will be organised based on the children’s schedule.
Nanny-Housekeepers’ duties may include cooking, doing laundry and ironing, cleaning and tidying the home, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, organising cupboards, and other general household tasks.
We advise you to tell us in as much detail as possible the childcare and housekeeping tasks you expect from your Nanny-Housekeeper.
What is the salary of a Nanny-Housekeeper?
Salaries in London for live-in Nanny-Housekeepers range from £350 gross per week for a junior candidate to £800 gross per week in 2025/26. For overseas live-in Nanny-Housekeeper candidates, the salaries range between £3,000 and £5,000 gross per month.
Daily (live-out) Nanny-Housekeepers earn between £13 to £20 gross per hour and may work between 4 to 12 hours per day.
Some Nanny-Housekeepers may drive and be responsible for the school run. For these candidates, a higher salary may be expected.
