What might be expected of a Housekeeper?
A housekeeper may live in your home, or live out. They may work part time, or 5 to 6 days per week, for 10 to 12 hours per day.
Housekeepers will have housekeeping experience with verbal references available.
Housekeeping duties include: cooking for a family or dinner party, laundry, ironing, cleaning silverware, bathrooms, vacuum, mending, shopping, meeting tradesmen and collecting deliveries.
Salaries in London for live in housekeeping candidates range from £300 to £600 net per week depending on experience and the employer’s requirements.
Daily housekeeping candidates earn £9 to £15 net per hour and expect to work between 3 to 10 hours per day.
