Hertfordshire Live-in Nanny

A Hertfordshire-based household is seeking a Live-in Nanny to help them in keeping their children safe, well cared for and educationally engaged. The live-in nanny will be responsible for their three school-aged children and light housekeeping duties related to them. This Hertfordshire family need an experienced candidate who can help them with schoolwork and navigate calmly and effectively issues that may arise. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills are also imperative as they seek someone who has the confidence to take direction from the Principals but also put their stamp on building relationships with the children and understand the needs and requirements of each child. The family requires at least 5 years of child care experience and qualifications. Someone who can drive is a must.

Someone who has a valid first aid qualification is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 7 pm

Accommodation: En suite bedroom (own separate accommodation in Autumn)

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals for the children,
• school runs,
• planning and supervising playdates,
• taking them to the park and playgrounds,
• playing active games with them,
• arts and crafts,
• messy play,
• laundry,
• ironing,
• cleaning up after the children's meals,
• ensuring toys are put away and play areas are tidy,
• getting the children ready for bed by helping them to brush their teeth and change into their pyjamas.

A perfect candidate must be willing to start by September.
