Nanny-housekeeper, part-time role

This lovely household based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire is currently hiring a Nanny-Housekeeper to assist them in looking after their two school-aged children in a part-time role. The role involves school runs, homework assistance, and meal preparations for the children. They need someone organised who takes initiative in all light housekeeping tasks as well as cooking for the children and dinner meals for the family occasionally. They have a cleaner who comes once a week so no deep cleaning will be required. A driver who holds a full driving license is a must for this job. The family owns two friendly cats so someone pet-friendly would be ideal.

A valid first aid qualification is essential.

Working hours: Term Time: 22 hours, Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and during Holidays: 57 hours, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00/7:00 pm

Duties include:

• school runs
• helping with homework
• preparation of healthy meals for the children
• supporting all aspects of their development
• keeping their bedrooms and play area neat and tidy
• organising the laundry and ironing
• setting feeding and nap times
• playing both fun and educational games
• loading the dishwasher
• taking them for walks to the local park or high street
• ensuring they are washed and ready for bed at the end of the day

This Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire family seek someone who is willing to start in September but is happy to wait for the right candidate.
