A lovely family is seeking a nanny to help care for their two school-aged children. They are looking for someone energetic, fun, and committed to supporting the children's educational development, including helping them learn to speak French through regular communication and reading French books. The nanny will handle the children's housekeeping and prepare healthy, balanced meals. Additionally, managing the children's calendars is essential, which involves receiving school emails to proactively schedule clubs, changes in pick-up times, and uniform requirements in the family’s shared calendar. Playdates will be coordinated directly by the nanny without needing parental input. The nanny should also assist parents in planning vacations by suggesting activities. Daily item management is important, including ensuring that everything needed for sports days, cello days, ballet days, and special events is organised and set out the night before. Occasionally, this may involve preparing baked goods for school fundraisers. Lastly, the nanny will oversee the children’s homework, which includes understanding assignments, reading with the children, making notes in their reading logs if necessary, supervising homework completion, and helping them practice the cello.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
