We are a premium agency providing nannies for parents who need an experienced, qualified and caring person to look after their children. The process of recruiting a nanny can be incredibly stressful and time-consuming and Little Ones aims to help parents by taking the hard work and unpredictability out of the process. We have years of experience in identifying the very best nannies so we can supply the perfect nanny for your family.
We're extremely selective when it comes to the nannies that we register. Most of our nannies have worked with us over many years and are highly experienced and qualified. We place the utmost importance on values such as kindness and empathy and also on the nanny's education and experience. We are aware that the nanny you choose has to fit into your family life, so they need to be flexible. But most importantly, they must be someone who can help your children to thrive when you aren't present.
Many parents find that the best route is to talk, informally, with a Little Ones consultant. This gives them the chance to explain what kind of family life they have, the constraints of their working lives and the kind of nanny that they feel would best fit their needs. We then use our unrivalled experience to find that perfect nanny who can provide the best possible care for your children, whether you have a toddler, a new baby or school-age children.
Families who need a nanny for up to 12 hours a day, for a full 5 days a week, usually employ a live-in nanny. The nanny's contract will often contain a commitment to carry out a couple of babysitting sessions. When the nanny is not on duty, they will need privacy, so they must have their own room and it's helpful if they can also have a separate bathroom. If your nanny is part-time, they won't be with you outside of their designated working hours but you can negotiate for other duties, such as babysitting.
Your nanny covers the normal tasks involved in child care, such as getting the children's meals ready and looking after their clothes and their rooms. If required, and obviously depending on the age of the children, the nanny will help them with their homework and will also be involved in educational activities.
The nanny can also be a tremendous help with the child's general development, including their social skills. They can arrange playdates and either walk with the child or drive them to the location, as required. The nanny will also ensure that the child gets enough physical exercise and goes on outings to a range of activities. These might include visits to the swimming pool, children's bookshop, cinema and so on.
We'll keep you fully informed as we go about finding the perfect nanny. And once your nanny has accepted the assignment, you don't have to worry about employment paperwork or other formalities - we'll handle all of that for you.
