Live In Housekeeper Cook in Stroud

A full time live in housekeeper cook is needed by a family in Stroud, Gloucestershire to provide professional cleaning services to keep their home with 7 bedrooms constantly clean and well arranged. The family is mainly looking for someone who can be quite flexible, that is happy to cook for them and that can do all housekeeping in their own time, an experienced candidate looking for their next long term position. The family owns 2 dogs so someone pet friendly is essential to the role. A confident driver of a manual and automatic car is required and the family will provide a car if needed.

Working hours: 50 or 60 hours, 5 days a week

Accommodation: Own room and bathroom, sitting room and TV plus kitchenette

Duties include:

• doing the laundry and ironing
• dusting
• hoovering the carpets and floors
• ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
• polishing floor
• preparing simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
• cleaning up after meals
• changing bedsheets once a week
• keeping the kitchen clean at all times
• running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills

The family is looking to hire by September.
