Live In Nanny in Hackney

An outgoing, active and independent full time live in nanny is needed in Hackney, London to help a family in looking after their two school aged children. The nanny will be responsible for all childcare related duties, morning routine, school runs, homework assistance, meal preparations and organising activities. The children stay on their other property from time to time and the candidate must be happy to accompany them. The family also owns a dog and they would love someone who could help with pet care. Occasional overnight babysitting duties might be required,

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 35 to 40 hours per week, from 7 am to 9 am and from 2 pm to 7 pm

Accommodation: own bedroom and shared bathroom

Duties include:

• making sure the children are up early in the morning,
• preparing healthy breakfast and snacks,
• washing and dressing them,
• helping with homework,
• doing after school activities with the children,
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development,
• messy play with the children,
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children,
• doing arts and crafts,
• taking them to parks and playgrounds,
• feeding the children and helping with the bedtime routine.

They are seeking a flexible nanny who is keen to start by mid of March or the beginning of April.
