Live-in Nanny for school aged child

A lovely family based in Watford is looking for a nanny who can show genuine care and affection to their very charming school aged child. The little one has special needs, and they seek someone dedicated who would be happy to learn all the special care needed by attending their provided training. It is also important for this Watford household to hire someone who would be comfortable having cameras around the house. There are two other children in their home, but the focus would be mainly on the little one.

Working hours: Monday to Friday and occasional weekend shifts, ideally 37 to 40 hours a week

Accommodation: Large room in the house before June and a separate flat next to the house after

Duties include:

• cooking healthy meals for the child,
• following morning and afternoon routines,
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners,
• creating activities and playdates,
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime,
• cleaning and washing up after child's meals,
• washing and ironing children’s clothes,
• and reporting every activity and issue to the parents.

This Watford position requires a confident driver with a valid first aid qualification. They are ideally looking for a live in nanny, but they are also happy to consider live out nanny candidates. The perfect person must be flexible to start immediately.
