Live In International Nanny

A lovely and noble family from Jeddah is searching for a professional, experienced and educated nanny to take proper care of their playful little toddler in a permanent position. The role involves all nursery duties and light housekeeping related to the child. It requires a nanny with an extensive private childcare background, ideally from teaching preschoolers, as well as newborn baby experience. Someone who is capable of adjusting to a new culture will be ideal.

The position will takes place in Saudi Arabia as well as in California and they need someone who will be comfortable with this arrangement. It will be a huge advantage if the nanny has previous experience working in the Middle East.

Working hours: 6 days per week, 10 to 12 hours per day depending on the schedule

Accommodation: Own apartment with kitchen, bedroom, living space & bathroom and access to the family’s driver as needed.

Duties include:

• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• creating activities and playdates
• preparing and administering healthy food for the little child
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime
• cleaning and washing up after child’s meals
• reporting every activity and issue to the parents
• organising the child’s clothes
• doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
• making sure the child’s room is always clean
• doing occasional grocery shopping of the child’s supplies

The nanny must be a native English speaker, however, a candidate who also has knowledge of the Arabic language is preferred. A valid first aid qualification is a must.
