Part-time Nanny for four children

A family based in the London Borough of Barnet seeks a part time nanny to ensure that their four school aged children are safe and cared for. The family ideally seeks a candidate with a formal qualification in teaching or educational background to guide the little ones in reaching educational milestones. It is important to note that the Barnet clients require a part time nanny who would be happy to accompany them on their property in Spain during the holidays. It is also vital that the candidate has experience dealing with allergies.

The Barnet household requires someone to work full days on the weekends and three more days during the week. The clients are very flexible with the working schedule, hence, nanny candidates seeking both part time and full time roles are encouraged to apply. A valid first aid qualification is needed, and the candidate should be ready to start by the end of January.

Working hours: Full days during the weekend and three more days during the week (Flexible with the work schedule)

Duties include:

• making sure the children are up early in the morning,
• preparing healthy breakfast and snacks
• washing and dressing them
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• messy play with the children
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking them to parks and playgrounds
• feeding the children and helping with the bedtime routine
