Part-time Nanny

This lovely household in Southwark is currently looking for an amazing and experienced part time nanny to join their family on a long term basis. The family has two children, a baby and a nursery aged child, and the part time nanny will need to focus on attending to their every need.

The Southwark residents are ideally looking for a candidate with baby care experience, who can support the child's development and work together with the mother with all the duties related to the children. Both children are energetic and sociable, so they need someone, who can get along with their personalities. Initially, the candidate will need to work 20 hours per week, but the family seeks someone who would be willing to add more hours from September onwards. A creative individual who can think of ways to encourage their eldest child to eat healthy meals would be very much appreciated.

Working hours: Three days a week, ideally 20 hours with the possibility to add more hours from September

Duties include:

• cooking healthy meals for the children,
• following morning and afternoon routines,
• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training,
• helping the older child with homework,
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners,
• creating activities and playdates,
• preparing and administering healthy food for the children,
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime,
• cleaning and washing up after children’s meals,
• washing and ironing children’s clothes,
• and reporting every activity and issue to the parents.

These Southwark based clients require someone with a valid first aid qualification. The ideal start date for this part time nanny role would be at the beginning of May.
