Live In Nanny in Kensington

A live in part time nanny is needed by a family in Kensington to keep their children safe, well cared for and educationally engaged. The nanny will take charge of their toddler and school aged child and will be responsible for all the duties related to them. The mother will be around most of the time; hence, the candidate needs to be comfortable working on both sole and shared basis. They have another property in Hampshire, and the candidate is welcome to join them during their visit.

A pet friendly candidate who would be comfortable with their dog is essential for this position. A valid first aid qualification is needed as well.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 7 am to 12 pm/3 pm to 7 pm, and Fridays from 7 am to 12 pm with one to two nights of babysitting

Accommodation: Own basement flat in the family home with a double bedroom, en suite bathroom, kitchenette and living room

Duties include:

• cooking healthy meals for the children,
• following morning and afternoon routines,
• changing nappies and helping with potty/toilet training,
• helping the older child with homework,
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners,
• creating activities and playdates,
• preparing and administering healthy food for the children,
• preparing and assisting with bath time and bedtime,
• cleaning and washing up after children’s meals,
• washing and ironing children’s clothes,
• and reporting every activity and issue to the parents.

The nanny must be flexible to start around August or September.
