German-speaking Afterschool Nanny

A lovely family based in the Greenwich area seeks a German-speaking Afterschool Nanny to look after their two school-aged children. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday approximately 16 hours per week. Flexibility to do full hours during school holidays is essential.

The duties for this position will include

• meal preparation,
• help with homework,
• help the children with learning,
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the children
• tidying away children's toys after use
• helping with the evening routine, eg help the children organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of children’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

The family is looking for someone professional and that will work consistently. They are a very active family and would like a nanny that loves doing outdoor activities. A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Someone who speaks German would be ideal to help the children learn how to communicate well using the language but the family is also open for someone who speaks French or Italian. The family would like someone to start as soon as possible.
