A lovely family based in Walthamstow, London is looking for an After-school Nanny to help them in caring for their precious baby and school-aged child. An ideal candidate will be someone experienced, reliable, and passionate who will provide childcare from the end of the school day until the parents return home, involving school pick-up, homework help, meal preparation, engaging activities, light housework and preparing for bed. Effective communication with parents and children is essential for this role.

A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, 16 hours per week plus extra babysitting. Flexibility required during school holidays.

Duties include:

• Transporting children from school, clubs, and other scheduled activities
• Assisting with homework and academic tasks as needed
• Preparing healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children
• Tidying up and keeping the children’s areas clean and organised
• Planning and engaging the children in age-appropriate activities and games
• Keeping open communication with the parents regarding the children’s activities and overall well-being
• Ensuring constant supervision and maintaining the children’s safety at all times
• Overseeing bath time and helping the children prepare for bedtime
• Providing ad hoc babysitting support and assistance during holidays (paid extra)
