After-school Nanny for 20 hours per week

An after school nanny in Birmingham is needed by a family to assist them to care for two school aged children. All general nanny duties are required in this role which includes preparing and cooking healthy meals for the children. Someone active, happy to plan activities, and stay close to one of the children who have special needs. The family would also consider covering the cost of transport if a candidate is not very local and needs to travel a long journey.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 7 pm

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
