After-school Nanny for 4 days

This lovely family is seeking an after-school nanny to care for their school-aged child who has just started school. The role includes all general nanny duties, such as walking 1 mile to pick up the child from school, taking him to extracurricular activities, and planning engaging activities as needed. Additional responsibilities include helping with homework and preparing his dinner. The ideal candidate will be bubbly, bright, and enthusiastic.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
