A lovely family based in Richmond is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their three school-aged children. They are also expecting a newborn in December. The role includes all standard nanny duties, with a strong emphasis on supporting the children’s busy after-school routines. Fluency in English is essential, and as both parents work on a hybrid basis, the role will involve shared care. Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude are, therefore, important. From December, the nanny will also assist with tasks relating to the baby. While the family enjoys travelling during school holidays, their plans may become more flexible with the arrival of the baby, so a degree of flexibility would be appreciated. They are seeking a dedicated and adaptable nanny, ideally open to the position developing into a full-time role over time. The family employs a separate cleaner and will have a night nurse once the baby arrives. A driver would be a bonus. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• Collecting the children from school and taking them to their activities
• Supervising stimulating, age-appropriate play and supporting with homework
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas tidy and well-organised
• Handling the children’s laundry and arranging their belongings
• Clearing up after the children’s meals
• Providing assistance with care for the newborn from December onwards
