An After-school Nanny is needed by a busy client in Barbican, London to assist them look after their school-aged child. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. The family is pretty flexible regarding cooking simple meals for the child.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, approximately 15 hours per week. During school holidays it will be 50 hours per week.

Duties include:

• Picking the child up from school and transporting him to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Putting child to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child structure and development
• Tidying up, cleaning, and keeping the children's area organised
• Preparing healthy and age-appropriate meals and snacks
