After-school Nanny for busy family in Winchmore Hill, London, Job ID J1C65E

A busy family based in Winchmore Hill, London seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school-aged children. This position is best suited to a nanny who is highly organised, able to take initiative, and confident managing multiple roles and responsibilities. The family is seeking someone who can not only support daily childcare needs but also take ownership of practical household tasks and help plan ahead for events and activities. The candidate must be fluent English speaker, able to support schoolwork and can communicate clearly. A driver who holds a full driving license is a must and an automatic car can be provided by the family.

The after school nanny must have a valid first aid qualification.

Working hours: Tuesday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 30 hours per week

Duties include:

• School pick-up
• Attending any appointments or social events with the children
• Planning and organising age-related activities
• Implementing daily routines
• Support and supervise homework (including online tools such as Canva, school platforms, etc.)
• Plan and organise children’s birthday parties, events, and any special routines or activities
• Cleaning related to the children, such as organising clothes and doing the laundry and ironing the children's clothes and school uniforms
• Grocery shopping
• Tidying up children’s bedrooms
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Maintain a calm, consistent routine and a safe, caring atmosphere in the home
