After-school Nanny for busy family, Job ID J1D023

A busy family in Tulse Hill, London seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school aged children. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus for this role.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, between 20 to 25 hours per week. School holiday, same hours or extra hours.

Duties include:

• Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Putting children to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
