An After-school Nanny is needed by this lovely family based in Woking, Surrey to help them in looking after their charming toddler and school-aged child. An ideal candidate will be someone reliable and caring who takes initiative with all childcare duties. The family wants to find a nanny who feels like part of the family and a valued team member. They are open for someone who wants to join them when they travel since they usually take their vacation out of the country. A driver is required for this role, and the candidate should be comfortable driving both automatic and manual vehicles.

The children are raised bilingual, speaking English and Mandarin, so the family would love to find a Mandarin-speaking nanny to support their language development. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday and possible Wednesday for 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Managing children's laundry, including ironing and folding
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
