After-school Nanny for school runs

An After-school Nanny is needed by a family in Kentish Town, London to help them look after their school aged child. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children's mental health. The duties will involve supporting and monitoring their child after school, making sure their child has her snack, ensuring that their child does homework and generally hanging out and keeping her company. They have two cats and a dog so someone pet-friendly would be ideal.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm with one evening per week, approximately 20 hours per week

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

They are looking for someone who can start in mid-August 2024 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
