After-school Nanny in Berkshire, Job ID J1F96D

This lovely family, based in Reading, Berkshire, is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. All general Nanny duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to drive would be advantageous for this role. Someone pet-friendly is essential since the family owns a lovely dog, but no pet care is needed. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Week 1 with the dad, Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Week 2 with the mum, no childcare required, but need to be on call. The schedule might change depending on the family's needs, so the nanny will need to be flexible.

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after-school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
