This lovely family based in Clapham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their three school-aged children. The candidate must speak fluent English. The role involves all general nanny duties. A driver is essential, with a preference for someone who can use their own car. One of the children has additional needs relating to hearing and learning, so experience or confidence supporting children with special needs would be highly beneficial. The family currently has one cat and may have a dog in the future, so the candidate must be comfortable around pets. The family is also considering hiring a Full-time Nanny-Housekeeper. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, one hour in the morning and 3:45 pm to 6:30 pm (20 hours per week)

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after-school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
