A lovely family based in Epsom, Surrey, is seeking an Afterschool Nanny to help care for their two children, aged 4 and 11 years old.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Someone warm, reliable, patient, and confident supporting children with different needs would be ideal for this role.
The role will include general nanny duties, school runs, after-school care, and helping with school work when required. The family is looking for someone who can provide a safe, calm, and supportive environment for the children.
Experience or confidence supporting a child with autism and non-verbal communication needs would be highly beneficial. The role will also include light housekeeping duties related to the children. Cooking for the family would be a bonus.
The family has one cat, so someone comfortable around pets would be ideal. A driver with their own car would be preferred. The candidate will have access to a separate entrance bedroom and bathroom.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday or Friday, 14:45 to 18:45 during term time, around 15 to 18 hours per week. Full-time hours may be required during school holidays, with pro rata hours to be confirmed.
