A wonderful family in the Harrow area seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school-aged children. This position is perfect for someone who is responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively.

The after school nanny must have a valid first aid qualification.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 11.5 hours per week. From September it will be Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

Duties include:

• Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Putting children to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
