This lovely family based in Hampstead, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. The role includes all general nanny duties, and a driver who can confidently operate an automatic car is essential. Based on their experience with previous nannies, the family has found that the ideal candidate is someone with a warm, kind, and caring nature, who is also diligent, responsible, and energetic. They particularly appreciate individuals who have a good sense of humour, possess strong English skills, and are intelligent and quick to learn. The family is not primarily focused on extensive experience; instead, they place greater importance on finding a nanny with the right personality and attributes that fit well within their home. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm + 5 extra babysitting ( additional hours in school holidays)

Duties include:

• Picking the children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments.
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children at all times.
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Putting the children to bed and supporting evening routines.
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development.
• Keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs.
• Emptying the dishwasher.
• Washing the children’s bedding weekly.
• Ironing school shirts and organising school uniforms.
