A wonderful family in the Harrow area is looking for an after-school nanny to assist in caring for their two school-aged children. This role is ideal for someone responsible, nurturing, and capable of effectively balancing childcare with light household duties.

The after-school nanny must have a valid first aid qualification.

Working hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 11.5 hours per week. From September, it will be Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule.

Duties include:

• Collecting the children from school and accompanying them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained
• Prioritising the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
• Engaging them in interactive play, age-appropriate educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Supporting the bedtime routine and settling the children for sleep
• Encouraging early literacy through regular reading
• Assisting with homework and promoting educational progress
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and healthy development
• Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks suited to the children’s needs
