After-school Nanny in Hornsey, Job ID J19C01

A family in the Hornsey area is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. They are looking for someone energetic, proactive, and focused on supporting the child's developmental stages while maintaining an easygoing approach. A pet-friendly nanny is ideal as the family has a dog. A driver with a full license would be a bonus but is not essential. The family has a strong preference for German speakers but is open to considering English-speaking candidates.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 11:00 pm, approximately 13.5 hours per week

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
