After-school Nanny in New Cross Gate

This lovely family are seeking an afterschool nanny to start in October to care for their two school-aged children. Both children attend the same school—the eldest is in primary school, and the younger is in nursery. The school is just a 10-minute walk from their home. The nanny's responsibilities will include: picking up the children from school, planning and engaging them in activities, tidying up after them, preparing their dinner, and managing their laundry. They are looking for someone who is caring, organised, and reliable to become a valued part of their family routine.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 2:45 PM to 6:30 PM

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
