The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. An afterschool nanny will also be expected to prepare meals for the children.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm, around 12 to 15 hours per week

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
