After-school Nanny in RG22, Job ID J1C6BF

An After-school Nanny is needed by this wonderful family based in Basingstoke, Hampshire to assist them in looking after their two school-aged children. They are looking for someone calm and patient yet energetic enough to keep up with the children while handling light housekeeping tasks related to them. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm, 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Putting children to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children

The family is seeking someone who can start immediately.
