An After-school Nanny is needed by this lovely family in West Ealing, London to care for their two school-aged children on a permanent basis. The primary focus will be on their younger child, who has autism, epilepsy, and some speech difficulties that is managed well with medication. All general nanny duties are required, including school pick-ups via public transport, assisting with homework, and providing attentive care after school. The ideal candidate will be kind, patient, and experienced, with a minimum of 2 years working with special educational needs or autism.

A valid first-aid qualification is a requirement for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm, around 20 to 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Taking public transport to collect the children from school and safely escorting them home
• Assisting with all general nanny duties and providing attentive supervision
• Supporting the children with homework and school-related projects
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
• Engaging the children in age-appropriate, fun, and stimulating activities
• Creating a calm, supportive, and nurturing environment for play and learning
• Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and consistency in their daily routines
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the children’s bedrooms and play areas
