After-school Nanny needed to help a lovely family

This lovely family is looking for an after-school nanny to care for their toddler on a permanent basis. All general nanny duties are required in this role, including nursery pick-up (a 10-minute walk from the house), planning and organizing age-appropriate activities, providing supervision and constant care, as well as handling bath time and bedtime. The nanny will also be responsible for providing healthy meals and snacks.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
