A lovely family based in Basingstoke, Hampshire seeks an After-school Nanny to help them care for two school-aged children. An ideal candidate will be someone calm and patient yet energetic enough to keep up with the children while handling light housekeeping tasks related to them. A driver is required, with a preference for candidates who have their own car.

The after school nanny must have a valid first aid qualification.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm, approximately 25 hours per week

Duties include:

• Picking children up from school and transporting them to and from after-school activities, playdates, or appointments
• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Putting children to bed
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children

They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
