A lovely family based in Kensington, London, is looking for an after-school Nanny with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to care for their school-aged child, who is currently attending nursery and due to start school in September. The role includes all general nanny duties. The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in the area of speech delay. They are seeking someone calm, patient, and nurturing, as well as flexible, reliable, and proactive in meeting the child’s developmental needs. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is essential for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00/8:00 pm - Full time during school holidays 9:00 am to 6:00 pm ( 45 hours )

Duties include:

• Providing after-school care, including nursery or school pick-up
• Supporting the child's communication and language development through structured and play-based activities
• Building a consistent and trusting routine to help the child thrive in a supportive environment
• Assisting with homework and other school-related tasks
• Preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks for the child
• Bathing and dressing the child as part of their daily routine
• Planning and engaging in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities
• Taking the child to extra-curricular activities, playdates, and local outings
• Monitoring developmental milestones and updating parents as needed
• Ensuring the child’s safety, happiness, and overall well-being at all times
