Afternoon Nanny-housekeeper in Chingford

An Afternoon Nanny-housekeeper is needed by a Chingford resident to provide childcare support to their toddler and school-aged child in a part-time role. The nanny-housekeeper will also carry out all general housekeeping tasks as well as cook healthy meals for them. Someone who speaks Hindi or Urdu would be ideal but is not a requirement. A valid first aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12 pm-5 pm (with flexibility); extra hours can be provided if the candidate would like to work a half day on the weekend.

Duties include:

• Reading to and playing with the children.
• Implementing daily routines.
• Responsible for the safety, well-being, care, and development of the children.
• Washing and bathing children.
• Getting children ready in the morning and then taking them to school.
• Helping children with after-school activities like homework.
• Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Tidying up children’s bedrooms and play areas.
• Playing with the children and taking them to the park.
• Cooking and preparing meals for the family.
• Vacuuming the carpets.
• Sort, wash, load and unload laundry.
• Make up beds and change linens.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen.
