Afternoon Nanny

A family in Hampstead, London, needs an after-school nanny to help care for their school-aged child. They are looking for an active and young nanny to pick up their child from school and assist with homework, particularly Math and reading, as their child has difficulty concentrating. The candidate will also be expected to warm up food for the child and prepare snacks. They have a cat who lives outside, so it is not essential and being pet-friendly is preferred.

A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.

Working hours: Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 3:20 pm to 6:30 pm, Wednesday from 5:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, approximately 12.5 hours per week plus occasional Sunday for 2 hours

Duties include:

• meal preparation,
• help with homework,
• help the child with learning,
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away child's toys after use
• helping with the evening routine, eg help the child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping

The family is looking for someone to start on the 2nd of September 2024 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
