Afterschool Nanny-Housekeeper in Hertfordshire, Job ID J1E5F0

A kind, bubbly, and reliable Nanny is needed by a lovely family in Royston, Hertfordshire to care for their energetic 2.5-year-old son. The role will initially involve shared care with the grandparents before moving to sole care. The family is open to either an Afterschool Nanny or Nanny Housekeeper, depending on the candidate's experience and availability.

Working hours:

Afterschool Nanny: Tuesday to Friday, 6:30am to 9am and 5pm to 9pm, approximately 26 hours per week

Nanny Housekeeper: Additional 2 to 3 hours per day can be offered, bringing the total to approximately 34 to 38 hours per week Occasional half-day weekend babysitting may also be required

Duties include:

• providing attentive care and ensuring the child's safety and well-being
• supporting the child's development and daily routines
• preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• bathing and maintaining the child's personal hygiene
• organising age-appropriate play, educational activities, and outdoor outings
• encouraging early literacy through reading and interactive activities
• keeping the child's bedroom and play areas tidy
• maintaining consistent daily routines
• carrying out all general childcare duties as required

For the Nanny Housekeeper option:

• general housekeeping throughout the 4-bedroom family home
• maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised household
• laundry and other general household tasks as required
• no deep cleaning required
• cooking for the family would be a bonus

A driver with their own car is required for this position.

The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Job Type: Full Time or Part Time, Permanent

Salary: £16 to £22 gross per hour, depending on experience
