A family based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire (HP4), is looking for an experienced, energetic, and reliable Afterschool Nanny to support their family and care for their two children.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience, a proactive approach to child development, and comfort around pets (the family has two cats, with no pet care required). A driver with their own car is essential for handling school pick-ups and daily outings.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Duties include:

• managing reliable school pick-ups using your own car
• ensuring the safety, well-being, and overall development of the children
• reheating and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
• keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organized, and tidy
• engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, park visits, and reading books to encourage early literacy
• providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational growth
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure

The family is looking for someone who can start on 15 September 2026.
