Afterschool Nanny in Chingford, Job ID J2273C

A family based in Chingford, London (E4), is looking for an experienced Afterschool Nanny to support their household and care for their children.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant professional experience. Being a driver is a bonus (note: care for the youngest child applies only if a driver is available to collect her from nursery).

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, totaling 12 hours per week.

Duties include:

• collecting the eldest child from school and bringing her home (plus collecting the youngest from nursery if driving)
• ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and park outings
• encouraging early literacy by reading books and providing homework assistance
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support structure and development
• keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organized, and tidy
• preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks, with cooking dinner for the whole family offered as a bonus
• handling light housekeeping duties as a bonus

The family is looking for someone who can start on 7 September 2026.
