This lovely family based in Dorking, Surrey, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The role involves all general nanny duties. Both parents work full-time, with some days spent in London, and their daughter will be starting a new school in September. Responsibilities include school pick-ups, assisting with homework, managing evening and bedtime routines, and carrying out light housekeeping tasks. The nanny will also prepare dinner, taking into account that the son has a mild nut allergy. A driver with their own car is essential, as the school is approximately 20 to 25 minutes away. A valid first aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm - potentially more hours on days the parents are working in London

Duties include:

• Preparing healthy meals and snacks.
• Washing and dressing the children.
• Helping with homework and learning support.
• Organising and participating in after-school activities with the children.
• Planning recreational activities to support the children’s physical and mental development.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment for the children.
• Engaging the children in arts and crafts projects.
• Taking the children to parks and playgrounds for outdoor play.
• Preparing the children for bed and reading them stories.
