Afterschool Nanny in Essex, Job ID J20D0C

A lovely family is looking for a reliable and local Part-Time Afterschool for a long-term commitment starting this September, specifically to support their child. The role involves three days of care per week. As both parents work full time, the ideal candidate will be a dependable local professional capable of managing the 10-minute walk to school and providing engaging afternoon care. A driver would be a bonus.

A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday, Thursday and a 3 day (Monday or Friday)

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• helping with homework
• preparing meals and snacks
• arranging playdates
• helping with homework
• playing age-appropriate games together
• reading stories to the child
• tidying away their toys after use – child to help
• helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
• light laundry of child’s clothes
• occasional grocery shopping
