Afterschool Nanny in Essex, Job ID J21FAE

A flexible and reliable afterschool nanny is needed by a family in Chigwell, Essex to care for their 6-year-old child. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and be able to adapt to the family's changing schedule. A driver with their own car is required.

Working hours: 3 days per week, from 5:15 pm to 8:15 pm, with 2 Saturdays per month. Additional hours may be required during the first week of August. The candidate must be very flexible with the client's schedule.

Duties include:

• collecting the child from school
• ensuring the child is safe, happy, and well cared for
• maintaining the child's hygiene and daily routines
• keeping the child's bedroom and play areas clean and organised
• engaging the child in interactive and age-appropriate activities
• organising indoor and outdoor play
• encouraging reading and early literacy
• supporting homework and educational activities
• helping with the child's overall learning and development
• preparing the child for their evening routine

A valid first aid certification is required for this role. The family is looking for someone to start at the end of August.
