A lovely family in central Guildford is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive afterschool nanny to care for their child from Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Duties include handling the daily school pick-up, preparing healthy meals for the child, providing supportive homework help, and facilitating engaging, age-appropriate afternoon care. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organised, and passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and enjoyable routine after a busy school day. A Russian speaker would be ideal. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 4:30-7:30 pm

Duties include:

• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
• Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the child
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and development.
• Keeping child’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child
