Afterschool Nanny in Hampstead, Job ID J2280C

A family based in Hampstead, North London, is looking for an experienced and proactive Afterschool Nanny to support their household and care for their preschooler and school-aged child.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional childcare experience and be available to step up to full-time hours during school holidays.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (flexible), totaling 20 hours per week during term time.

Duties include:

• taking complete responsibility for the safety, well-being, care, and development of the children
• handling school and nursery runs safely and promptly
• organizing and participating in fun, engaging activities with the children
• providing homework assistance and implementing consistent daily routines
• bathing the children and assisting with proper hygiene
• preparing and serving healthy meals and snacks tailored to the children
• keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organized, and tidy

The family is looking for someone who can start on 5 October 2026.
