Afterschool Nanny in Lewisham

An after-school nanny is needed by this busy family in Lewisham, London to provide care for their two school-aged children. They seek someone calm and patient who will be responsible for all the childcare and housekeeping related to the children. A driver would be a big bonus. Accountable for the safety, well-being, care and development of young children. The nanny is expected to attend appointments or social events with the children.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 7:45 am until 6:30 pm (from 5th of July until 5th September)

Monday to Friday 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm (Term time - from 5th September)

Duties include:

• preparing healthy meals and snacks
• washing and dressing the children
• helping with homework
• doing after school activities with the children
• preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
• maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
• doing arts and crafts
• taking the children to parks and playgrounds
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
