Afterschool Nanny in Leyton, Job ID J2256C

A lovely family based in Leyton, London, is looking for an engaging and proactive Part-Time, Live-Out Afterschool Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged children.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of childcare experience and be confident primarily caring for a 5-year-old. The nanny will be responsible for implementing daily routines, preparing fun, exciting meals, and assisting with homework. They also need someone who can drive both automatic and manual cars for school pick-ups and after-school activities. Flexibility for babysitting and additional hours during school holidays is highly desired.

A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Tuesday, 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and every other Wednesday, for 10 hours per week.

Duties include:

• implementing daily routines and building a strong relationship
• driving for school pick-ups and taking the children to after-school activities
• planning playdates and holiday park visits with active games
• focusing care primarily on the 5-year-old
• helping with homework and ensuring bags are packed for the next day
• organising fun activities at home and reading to the children
• preparing fun, exciting meals for the children
• managing bath time, bedtime, and babysitting evening routines
• general tidying up after the children

The family is looking for someone who can start on 5 October 2026.
